The normalisation of the histograms was performed using the total number of galaxies in their respective samples. The orange histogram, with a diagonal hatch pattern (//), corresponds to CGs from the Zheng & Shen (2020) catalogue with a magnitude gap Δm ≤ 3. Finally, the purple histogram, represents CGs from the Zheng & Shen (2020) catalogue with a magnitude gap Δm > 3.
