Notes. Simulation parameters, with nd the number of dust species, Ngrid the spatial resolution, Sample the sampling method of the size distribution (G.L. stands for GL method and Discrete for the discrete method), α the dust diffusion, τs, min and τs, max the domain of stopping times, β the slope of the size distribution (σMRN(τs, β)., see (29)), μ the dust-togas ratio, L the size of the shearing box, cs the sound speed, ρg0 the gas density, K the non-dimensional wavenumber and the amplitude of the perturbation. All the simulations are perturbed by the same sinusoid except the simulations of varying dust-to-gas ratios that are perturbed by white noise with a standard deviation of 10−4cs.
