Table 3.
Prior ranges for all parameters we used to simulate BBH and BNS injected signals.
Parameter | Definition | BBH | BNS |
---|---|---|---|
ℳ | Detector-frame chirp mass [M⊙] | [33, 35] | [1.21, 1.23] |
q | Mass ratio | [0.5, 1] | [0.5, 1] |
χi | Aligned spins | [ − 1, 1] | [ − 0.05, 0.05] |
ϕc | Coalescence phase | [0, 2π] | [0, 2π] |
cos ι | Cosine of inclination angle | [ − 1, 1] | [ − 1, 1] |
ψ | Polarization angle | [0, π] | [0, π] |
dL | Luminosity distance | GLADE+ | GLADE+ |
δ | Declination | no dL cut-off | dL < 100 Mpc |
α | Right ascension |
Notes. The localization parameters are the positions of real galaxies that were randomly selected from the GLADE+ catalog. For BNSs, the galaxies were extracted with a luminosity distance cutoff of 100 Mpc, but no such cutoff was applied for BBHs.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
