Energy vs. age near r = 1 AU for electrons undergoing scattering in the solar wind frame with all drifts, except for v_∥b, turned off. As in Fig. 5, the initial energy of the electrons is 81 keV, and the scattering mean free path is λ_∥ = 0.5 AU. The black line shows the average evolution.
