Core mass fractions, computed using ExoPlex (Unterborn et al. 2023), for the simulated planets around Kepler-94 and Kepler-62 as a function of their distance from the star. The lower and upper limits are calculated for the planetesimal formation time of 0.8 and 0.2 Myr, respectively. Plot A: Core mass fractions (wt%) of the planets, if the cores contain only pure Fe. Plot B: Core mass fractions (wt%) of the cores containing Fe, and reduced Ni and S. Plot C: Core mass fractions (wt%) of the cores containing Fe, and reduced Ni and S, and in addition reduced Si. The core mass fractions for our terrestrial planets, Mercury = 68 wt% (Smith et al. 2012), Earth = 32.5 wt% (Wang et al. 2018), and Mars = 25 wt% (Khan et al. 2022), are shown for comparison.
