The resolution is 20 times that used to construct the model image of the comet C/1996 B2 (Hyakutake) in Fig. 17. The mismatch is the result of the singularity appearing in Eq. (9) when a particle is ejected close to the pericenter of its orbit, and so ψ ≈ 90°.
