Comet C/1996 B2 (Hyakutake) observed by the SOHO/LASCO coronagraph C3. The image is taken from the gallery “Best of SOHO.” The date and time of the observation are given in the bottom left corner (May 2, 1996, 23:51 UTC). The field of view of the C3 coronagraph is 15.93° × 15.93°. The square restricts the area with the comet image, which we reconstructed using DUDI-heliocentric.
