Distribution of the density in a slice through the midplane (y = 0) of the jet. The jet is seen under a viewing angle of ϑ = 80° and the radiative transfer was performed in a positive z direction. The top panel shows the density without time delays and the middle one including time delays, where the left jet is beamed toward and the right jet away from the observer.
