Table 1

Initial parameters for each of the components of the N-body simulation used in this work.

Component M (M) r (kpc) hz (kpc) np 〈 [Fe/H]〉 (dex) σ[Fe/H] (dex)
Thin Disc (D1) 4.21 × 1010 4.8 0.15 5000000 0.25 0.15
Intermediate Disc (D2) 2.57 × 1010 2 0.3 3000000 −0.26 0.2
Thick Disc (D3) 1.86 × 1010 2 0.6 2000000 −0.62 0.26
Dark matter halo (r < 100 kpc) 1.61 × 1011 10 5000000

Notes. From left to right: total mass, characteristic radius (scale length for the disc components and Plummer radius for the dark matter halo), scale height, number of particles, mean metallicity of the MDF, and dispersion of the MDF. The model is similar to the Ml model of Fragkoudi et al. (2017b), with metallicity values taken from Fragkoudi et al. (2018).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
