Notes. Classification of the collisions depending on the final number of bound fragments as well as ratio of final total bound mass to initial total mass. By definition, a perfect merger is a collision where 100% of the colliding mass remains bound in a single fragment. To relax this strict requirement, we considered a perfect merging as a collision with a mass loss of up to 5%. As discussed in Sect. 1, we expect diverse outcomes from the rich dynamics of the collisions.
