Radial density and temperature profiles for the SPH particles of the remnant resulting from the collapsing collision displayed in Fig. 6. Only the particles with a density higher than 10−11 g cm−3 are shown. The bound mass of the remnant is 12.04 MJ amounting to 77% of the initial total mass. The densities and temperatures of the collision remnant are extremely high compared to the initial evolved 10 and 5 MJ clump models, whose profiles are shown for reference. A kink in the temperature at R = 10−3 AU is due to shock heating of material falling onto the central dense core.
