Example of LENSMC-Flagship image. The input galaxy distribution was provided by Flagship and stars were drawn from a model. We emulated the VIS detector by including realistic image properties and noise, but we did not include non-linearities, CTI, BFE, or cosmic rays. To aid the visualisation of the faint objects, the image was clipped between the tenth and ninetieth percentiles, illustrating the sheer number of objects and their clustering. The image size is 4096 pixels.
