r vs g - r CMDs from our new SSH data of the six galaxies analyzed here (see labels). As an example, we overplot the PARSEC isochrones of different ages (as labeled) on UGC 6541, shifted to a distance of 3.89 Mpc and corrected for a foreground extinction A_V = 0.052; the isochrone metallicity of Z = 0.001 is consistent with the H II region oxygen abundance of 12 + log(O/H) = 7.82 (Berg et al. 2012).
