Relation between the fraction of carbon mass (f_C) and the fraction of young (age ≤ 10 Myr) stellar populations (f_⋆) present in the diffuse halo of interacting (orange stars) and non-interacting (green triangles) systems. We show the mean value of f_C and f_⋆ of all the simulated galaxies, along with the error bars representative of the variations in different projections and the linear fit.
