Differential collision rate, dΓ, binned according to the logarithmic galactocentric radius, r_gal, using the stellar density profiles shown in Fig. 2 for (a) M_• = 10⁸ M_⊙, (b) M_• = 10⁹ M_⊙, and (c) M_∙ = 10¹⁰ M_⊙. From Eqs. (3–4), we obtained the values for dΓ ∝ ρ², keeping all other variables fixed.
