Worsening of the differential sensitivity averaged for energies >1 TeV for IACTs and >10 TeV for LHAASO as a function of the source extension (R = Rsrc, dashed lines) and of the offset (R = Roff, solid lines). The worsening is expressed as the ratio between the calculated sensitivity and the on-axis point-like source sensitivity.
