Pie chart describing the overall results of the spectroscopic analysis of the X-HESS sources. In most cases, the broadband X-ray continuum (E = 0.3 − 10 keV) can be reproduced well by a power-law model, modified by Galactic absorption. In the remaining ∼40% of the observations, an excess of soft X-ray emission is found. Approximately ∼12% of the X-ray spectra of the X-HESS AGNs reveal the presence of at least one emission and/or absorption feature due to the interaction of the primary continuum with either cold or ionised gas clouds.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
