Distribution of the X-HESS AGNs and the high-λEdd and low-λEdd local AGNs from Liu et al. (2021) in the Γ − log λEdd plane. All AGNs are divided in two almost equally populated sub-intervals of black hole mass (top panel) and bolometric luminosity (bottom panel). The correlation between Γ and λEdd appears to vanish for those sources with either higher MBH or Lbol.
