Geometry describing the reimaging of a vertically extended LGS beacon projected from outside the telescope pupil and co-aligned with its optical axis. Points P and C of the LGS are reimaged onto P′ and C′ that are aligned with A and B, which are the focus of an on-axis astronomical source and the center of the LGS projector, respectively.
