Plot of the amplitude of the photocentre wobbling as a function of the binary mass ratio, as described in Eq. (1). In this example we use a separation a = 10 mas, which means that we would observe a maximum photocentre wobbling of 0.9 mas for a mass ratio q ≈ 0.1538.
