Demonstration of a neural network architecture to be optimized by Optuna. Shape shell with dimension of 10 × 10 is feed into the neural network. The neural network consists of convolutional blocks, an adaptive layer and fully connected layers. In order to avoid overfitting planetary signals in RV time series, the calcium activity indicator log($R_{\mathrm{H}\mathrm{K}}^{\mathrm{\prime }}$) is used as output of the neural network to search for its best architecture.
