Positional residuals obtained by crossmatching the catalogs of a set of consecutive images with Gaia after the GD solution derived with the VVV dataset was applied. Each panel corresponds to a distinct image. The residuals display different trends, preventing a precision of less than ~0.1 pixels (~35 mas) in a single exposure with this approach.
