Schematic view of the different galaxy components and the relevant angles studied throughout the paper. We note that Ψstar, BH is the 3D angle between the BH spin and the angular momentum of the host galaxy. The latter was estimated by considering all star particles within a sphere of radius Re. Furthermore, Ψgas, BH is the 3D angle between the BH spin and the gas accretion disk gas (Jgas) estimated within the four closest cells (in radius) from the BH position and using mass and kernel weighting.
