Poster of the diversity of TNG-Cluster satellites in soft X-ray emission. We show the soft X-ray (0.5−2.0 keV) surface brightness for 16 example TNG-Cluster satellite galaxies at z = 0. Each image is 600 × 600 kpc2 in size (scale bar in the upper left). These galaxies are necessarily within a projected distance of 1.5 R200c of their host. We include information about the galaxy and its host in the upper right and lower left corners; the units of the cluster M 200 c host $ M_{\mathrm{200c}}^{\mathrm{host}} $ and satellite M sat $ M_{\star}^{\mathrm{sat}} $ mass are [log10M], and the soft X-ray luminosity L 0.5 2.0 keV < 300 kpc $ L_\mathrm{0.5{-}2.0\,keV}^{{ < }300\,\mathrm{kpc}} $ is the total X-ray luminosity within a projected aperture of 300 kpc in units of [log10 erg s−1]. Many of the maps display morphological signatures of SMBH feedback, with dome-like inflated bubbles and/or ram pressure, with gas tails extending in specific directions.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
