In addition, the sketch does not include foreground material, which includes a layer of ionized gas (O’Dell et al. 2020) and, closer to the observer, layers that are grouped together under the designation as the Veil (e.g., van der Werf et al. 2013; Pabst et al. 2019, 2020).
