Asymptotic period spacing of g-modes, ΔΠ = 1, computed by Mosser et al. (2014; orange circles) and by Vrard et al. (2016; blue triangles) as a function of ΔΠ = 1 derived by Mosser et al. (2012). We considered all stars with ΔΠ = 1≤140 s as first-ascent RGB stars and all stars with ΔΠ = 1 > 140 s as core He-burning stars. The error bars on the ΔΠ = 1 determination are smaller than the size of the symbols.
