Type III radio burst observed by Wind (left), STEREO A (middle), and STEREO B (right) on 7 June 2012. The event was chosen due to its relative brightness with respect to the background. The burst was observed to be an isolated event and lasted approximately 20 min. The frequency range of the burst located by each of the spacecraft was from 13 MHz to 0.1 MHz; however, STEREO B showed a poor S/N at the higher frequency range, presumably due to solar disk occultation. The white line is the fit of the Type IIIs used for the multilateration in the range of 2 MHz to 0.15 MHz.
