A superscript ‘total’ denotes the total number of subhalos traversed by all segments for the snapshot. A superscript [X, Y] denotes the number of these subhalos which fall within a mass bin Msub = [10X, 10Y] h−1M⊙. These data are further visualised in Fig. 8.
