Notes. We show pattern speed (Ωs, j) limits of the Galactic spanned region (Rmin and Rmax values) and the co-rotation radius Rj, cor. for each modulation function MMS, j(γj) as defined in Eq. (11). All the listed models are also characterised by: the radial scale length of the drop-off in density amplitude of the arms RS = 7 kpc, disc scale-length RD = 3.5 kpc, surface arm density at R0 = 8 kpc, which is ΣS, 0 = 20 M⊙ pc−2, star formation efficiency ν = 1.1 Gyr−1, and multiplicity m = 2.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
