Phase and amplitude of the direction-dependent, time-independent gain factor for one antenna. On top the flux contours of Cygnus A are indicated in white, since the interferometer is only sensitive to direction-dependent effects in regions with significant surface brightness. Thus, gain values outside the contours are neither accurate nor relevant.
