Effect of the Malmquist bias (MB) correction on the measured average SPT-SZ rescaled harmonic transform Compton parameter profile. The correction lowers the SPT profile by about 10%, which is larger than the statistical error in the range 3 × 10³ arcmin < lθ₅₀₀ < 2 × 10⁴ arcmin.
