NGC 4565 RSBPs in all the wavelength ranges used in this work, from FUV to H I. The right y-axis is in surface mass density units to account for the H I data. Each panel shows the RSBP at the indicated height above and below the mid-plane. In the cases of FUV and Hα, we only extracted profiles in the mid-plane (see Sect. 3.4.2). The NUV profiles are those from ML19. The vertical dashed lines indicate the mean radius of the truncation in the broadband optical data as obtained from the data points in the top panel of Fig 4. The shaded grey regions are the standard deviation of the truncation radius distribution. The truncation feature is present in all wavelengths at the same radius until it completely vanishes beyond 4 kpc in height.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
