Normalised flux profiles for the Paschen lines Paβ (upper panel) and Paγ (lower panel). All theoretical line profiles are computed in non-LTE. For the Paγ line, the measured flux is adopted from Kurucz (2005). However, the observational data of the Paβ line are taken from the IAG solar flux atlas (Reiners et al. 2016) because this wavelength region is not covered by the Kurucz (2005) atlas.
