Consensus clustering pipeline for a simple example using an ensemble of three clustering solutions: A, B, and C. (2) Clusters from the ensemble are linked in a graph based on overlapping points. (3) Edges between clusters are removed if the overlap between their members is insufficient to assume a common cluster solution. (4) Cliques that represent stable cluster solutions, i.e., consensus clusters, are extracted. (5) A voting strategy determines the assignment of individual sources to cliques.
