Different types of polarization modes are shown: pure-plasma (“pl”, dotted), pure-vacuum (“v”, thick dashes) modes, and modes with continuous and discontinuous (“pl+v: cri” and “pl+v: dri”, dashed and solid, respectively) refractive indices.
