Light (top) and mass (bottom) fractions per stellar population as provided by the FADO modelling for the seven areas considered here (small stars). For a given age, the contributions of the two metallicities (Z = 0.004 and Z = 0.008) have been added. Likewise, to better visualise the light (or mass) fractions for all the seven areas, data have been offset by +10N with N the spectrum number, as indicated by the alphabetically ordering of the labels. Three characteristic values are shown on top of each function: Mean stellar age logarithmic weighted by mass (circles) and by light (stars) together with the estimated age for an instantaneous burst of SF (diamonds), derived from the equivalent width in Hα, and the original STARBURST99 models (Leitherer et al. 1999).
