Vertical distribution of the gas and dust at a radius of ~80 AU outward of the outer edge of the dust cavity. The dashed orange line represents the different distributions of the large and small dust (Eq. (3)). The large dust grains are distributed closer to the midplane because they tend to settle with respect to the smaller grains. As a result, the dust-to-gas ratio is slightly higher near the midplane than far above the midplane.
