He I (2³S) triplet absorption profiles obtained considering a He/H abundance ratio of 0.01 and different values of the stellar XUV flux in comparison with the observations (black asterisks). The XUV flux values at 1 AU in erg cm⁻² s⁻¹ and the corresponding line colours are given in the legend. The absorption profiles are the result of time averaging from −0.1 to +0.1 in planetary orbital phase. The zero Doppler-shifted velocity on the x axis corresponds to a wavelength of 10 830.25 Å.
