Comparison of the fitting between the fixed (solid line) and free (dashed line) bulge Sérsic index models. We can see that overall, letting n as a free parameter worsens the results according to our metrics for the disc component parameters and b/t, while it is less clear for the bulge parameters. In addition to the usual double-Sérsic parameters, we show in the last row the fitting of the bulge Sérsic index for the “bulge free” model.
