Spatial distribution of the LAEs from the MUSE-Wide survey (red circles), MUSE-Deep (green squares) and MXDF (blue stars). The overlapping objects between the MXDF and MUSE-Deep samples have been removed from the MUSE-Deep LAE set, while those LAEs overlapping in MUSE-Deep and MUSE-Wide have been removed from the MUSE-Wide LAE sample. The MUSE-Wide survey covers part of the CANDELS/GOODS-S region and the HUDF parallel fields (left panel) as well as part of the CANDELS/COSMOS region (right panel). See Fig. 1 in Urrutia et al. (2019) for the layout of the MUSE-Wide survey without individual objects, Fig. 1 in Bacon et al. (2017) for that of MUSE-Deep, and Fig. 2 in Bacon et al. (2023) for that of MUSE-Deep (MOSAIC) and MXDF together.
