History of asymmetry in the number of the L4 and L5 Jupiter Trojan discoveries (black squares). The early data before 2005 is extracted from Freistetter (2006). As for the observed Jupiter Trojans after 2014, the asymmetry is obtained by using the MPC data recorded in our database; their total numbers at different epochs are also presented (purple squares).
