Quenching versus shape of the CVC measured through β = dlnVc/dlnR, the value of which we infer for each pixel of the radial and circular velocity maps. The rising part of the curve behaves as a solid body, Vc ∝ R, giving β = 1, while in the flat part of the curve, Vc  =  constant, and β = 0 (vertical dotted line). Negative values of the logarithmic derivative (β < 0) correspond to the declining part of the CVC. Symbols and conventions follow Fig. 3.
