Typical evolution of a system of two giant planets with a wide binary at aB = 1000 au (in the Laplace plane reference frame), during the disk phase (left panels) and after the disk dispersal (right panels). The initial parameters (with respect to the disk plane) are eB = 10−3 and iB = 50° for the binary companion and a1 = 6.7 au, m1 = 1.44 MJup, a2 = 18.9 au, and m2 = 3.55 MJup for the planets.
