Caustics corresponding to position 1. The yellow circle near the center has a radius of ≈10−3 pc at the redshift of the SN. The blue colored numbers indicate typical magnifications at those positions. Although this image represents the microcaustics around position 1, the SN is sensitive to the superposition of the four caustic planes shown in (Fig. A.1).
