Difference of bsens minus cleanest images for the two fields that contain strong HII regions against which molecular absorption is observed: G333.60 B6 (left) and W51-IRS2 B3 (right). The absorption regions dominate the integrated flux of the field because of their large spatial extents, but there are also regions where bsens is greater than cleanest because of excess emission from hot cores.
