eRASS hardness ratios versus flux for UCDs and UCD candidates. The flux refers to the 0.2 2.3 keV band (the sum of eRASS1 Band 1 and Band 2) and the hardness ratio is based on the count rates in the 0.6 2.3 keV band (eRASS1 Band 2, M) and the 0.2 0.6 keV band (eRASS1 Band 1, S); see text in Sect. 6.2 for more details.
