Hardness ratios HR1 and HR2 from simulated stellar coronal eROSITA spectra as a function of coronal temperature. HR2 is always close to –1, rising only very slightly for very high temperatures, and HR1 rapidly rises from low to moderate coronal temperatures and then saturates at a value of about 0.75 for temperatures above 0.5 keV.
