Host-subtracted WISE W2 (4.6 μm) magnitude for CSS1029 during outburst. For comparison, we also plot the evolution of the peak MIR luminosity of the TDE F01004-2237 (Dou et al. 2017) and PS16dtm (Blanchard et al. 2017), SLSNe (Jiang et al. 2019a), and the supernovae with an excess of MIR emission, i.e., Type Iax SN 2014dt (Fox et al. 2016).
