Measurement of the collinearity between planets in circular orbits and the αj (t) basis for HD 10700. The simulations are made of 18 different phases and 15 000 different periods. The envelope describes the 1-sigma dispersion obtained from the different phases for the same period. The injected planets are marked by vertical lines. A typical decrease of 2 ± 1 and 7 ± 4% can be expected for the 37-day and 122-day planets, respectively. Those results are coherent with the ~ 2 m s−1 and ~ 2.85 m s−1 planetary signals recovered, while the original signals injected for those planets was 2 and 3 m s−1, respectively.
