SDSS-III multi-colour images of four representative examples of AGN hosts (left column) and their respective control galaxies (centre and right columns) in our sample. These galaxies were chosen to roughly reproduce the morphological Hubble sequence from ellipticals (top) to late-type spirals (bottom).
